'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Finale Synopsis Teases Negan & Reveals A Major Death

And so we inch closer to the hugely anticipated and greatly feared event of The Walking Dead season 6the introduction of series big bad Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan), and it's not looking good for at least one of the main characters in our group of survivors.

Both Glenn (Steven Yeun), who bites the business end of Lucille in the comic books, and fan favorite but not-appearing-in-the-comics Daryl (Norman Reedus) are heavily speculated to be the ones with their heads up against the baseball bat when Negan rolls up in the Season 6 finale, entitled 'Something To Fear.' And Negan certainly is something to fear.

There are four more episodes to go now, and the final three synopses were released by AMC a couple of days back. It's not looking good for the survivors, and it's going to be a traumatic end to Season 6 for sure, as the finale synopsis reveals:

In the aftermath of a tragic blow, Eugene falls captured by Dwight, a member of the Saviors, whom are hell bent on getting even with Alexandria, Negan teaches Rick and company a brutal lesson, which shows that Rick and company finally have something to fear.

First off, the survivor to fall directly as a result of Negan's orders in the comic books is Abraham Ford. As we saw in 'Knots Untie,' Rick makes a deal with the other group of survivors at the Hilltop; he'll get rid of Negan and the Saviors in exchange for establishing a trade route with them. He later takes out a small group of the Saviors, not knowing the hell that would follow on from this action.

While out scouting with Eugene, Abraham is shot through the head, killed as revenge for Rick's actions.

In the TV show Abraham's character (portrayed by Michael Cudlitz) has recently started to come full circle. He's gone from being a violent and volatile creature to losing his last chance for hope, to finding a place within Rick's group for himself and trying to establish a relationship and family in the midst of the zombie apocalypse. It would be a shame to lose him at this juncture, butThe Walking Dead has never been one for pulling its punches.

Eugene is said to be captured by Dwight in the episode synopsis, and "a tragic blow" does suggest that Abraham's days are probably numbered. In the books, Eugene is present when Abraham is killed and it's Dwight who actually pulls the crossbow trigger on Abraham, carrying out the orders of Negan.

Dwight then takes Eugene hostage to attempt to gain access to Alexandria, this narrative perfectly echoes that of the episode synopsis. Basically, it's not looking good for Abraham.

And then of course there's the big question of Negan's "brutal lesson." Someone else's head is on the chopping block for the final episode of Season 6, but whose? Will they follow the comics and have Glenn meet the business end of Lucille, or will Daryl step in to fill the void? What about the pregnant Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and fan favorite Carol (Melissa McBride), currently held captive by the Saviors?

There are only a few weeks to go now until Negan is properly introduced in the The Walking DeadSeason 6 finale, 'Something To Fear,' on April 3, 2016. Are you ready for the fallout?
