"The Walking Dead" season 6, episode 12 is just days away, and SPOILERS from a promo tell us that two of the show's most beloved characters are about to get captured by the Saviors. Want to know who's involved? Keep reading!
The news comes to Design & Trend via Promos and Previews on YouTube. The channel has uploaded a clip from episode 12 that was originally posted by Fox international.
For those that wish to know the truth, it's Maggie Greene and Carol Peletier that actually wind up getting into trouble. The promo illustrates that Rick and a small crew of survivors attempt to sneak into the Saviors base in the dead of night. A close look reveals that Carol has been given the task of figuring out how many guards are on patrol in each area of the camp. A notebook page with numbers and words like "courtyard" suggests that some kind of map is being made.
Unbeknownst to Carol, however, Maggie has been secretly following her on the stealth mission against group orders. "What the hell are you doing here," asks Peletier. The tension ramps up when she yells "you were supposed to be someone else." It's hard to know exactly what the argument means when it's out of context, but we assume that Carol is frustrated with Maggie because she's supposed to be the group's peaceful diplomat. Ergot, she shouldn't be taking part in a task that involves killing another human being.
Speaking of killing, Rick and Glenn are just about ready to take out a Savior when a call comes through on a nearby walkie talkie. "Lower your gun," says the mysterious voice. "We've got a Carol and a Maggie. I'm thinking that's something you want to talk about." With that cliffhanger firmly established, the teaser cuts to black.
This spoiler scenario might sound familiar to those that regularly read our content on "The Walking Dead." At the beginning of February, we reported on a magazine set visit that outlined the scenario. In addition, we know that Maggie nearly kills a Savior before she and Carol are descended upon by two women. A particularly troubling red-haired adversary, named Mary, is played by "Justified" actress, Alicia Witt. Our two heroines are on the run despite being kidnapped by some powerful foes.
What's particularly new in this case is actual video footage from what has turned out to be episode 12. For the most part, it seems that our prior reports were right on the money.
"The Walking Dead" season 6, episode 12 is set for a March 6 premiere on AMC.
