Deadpool Stays At The Top, Kung Fu Panda Follows ~ GETPCGAMESET

Ryan Reynolds starrer Deadpool has retained its top spot at the weekend box office with $55 million. The movie has been running on its second weekend and has pooled in $491 million worldwide. Deadpool was the first R rated film to have such an immense opening.

The animated flick Kung Fu Panda 3 managed to gross another $12 million sending its overall earnings to $294 million. Po, the fluffy panda from the franchise has been voiced by Jack Black and the movie features voices from Angelina Jolie, David Cross, Jackie Chan, Bryan Cranston any several others. The newly released flick Risen comes in third with its $11.8 million opening weekend.

The Witch and How to be Single came in close for the fourth and fifth spot. The Anya Taylor Joy starrer The Witch saw an opening of $8.6 million while How to be Single pooled in $8.2 million on its second weekend. The movie stars Alison Brie, Dakota Johnson, Leslie Mann and Rebel Wilson.
