Air Conflicts: Vietnam เป็นเกมแนวขับเครื่องบินรบสไตล์อาเขต บรรยากาศของเกมอยู่ในช่วงสงครามเวียตนามปี 1965 มีเครื่องบิน-เฮลิคอปเตอร์อย่างเช่น F4 Phantom, AH-1 Cobra, UH1 Huey, B-52, MiGS เป็นต้น สำหรับแนวเกมภาคนี้ก็ Arcade-Shooter ยิงแหลกเช่นเดิม เพิ่มมาหน่อยเห็นจะเป็นเฮลิคอปเตอร์ที่ติดปืนกลรัวให้ยิ่งถล่มกันสุดๆพร้อม มิสไซล์ที่พร้อมทำลายทุกอย่างที่ขวางหน้า ที่เหลือก็เหมือน Air Conflicts ภาคก่อนๆนั่นแหละ
