Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (known asWinning Eleven 9
in Japan andWorld Soccer: Winning Eleven 9 in the
North America) is a football video game
developed and produced by Konami as part of the
Pro Evolution Soccer series. The PlayStation 2
and Xbox versions were released on 21 October 2005 with the PC version released a week later
on the 28 October. With featuring Arsenal and
Chelsea it is the first release of the series which
offered fully licensed
clubs from the Premier League, which is one of
the 3 unlicensed leagues of the game. There are also 3
licensed leagues just like in the predecessor Pro
Evolution Soccer 4. The game also includes 3
fully licensed leagues, which are the Spanish Liga
Espa?ola, the Dutch Eredivisie and the Italian
Serie A. It was also the first release in the series to include fully licensed national teams - Japan and
South Korea.
